The APM-AMP-APN digital panel ammeter achieves an accuracy of 1% or better across the input range for precise control where accurate measurement is paramount. It has a direct input for measuring AC and DC currents up to 5A or, in conjunction with a Current transformer, measure AC current up to 1,000A. The APM-AMP-APO includes the addition of 2 outputs and either can be user configured for 4-20mA retransmission of input or 50 mA static switched for a threshold alarm.

AC Current Measurement
The APM-AMP-APN meter is connected to an external current transformer as shown above. The CT can be placed on either the high side or low side of the load.
In the APM Configurator application make sure that the external sensor is set to ‘CT’ and then enter the primary and secondary currents of the CT that you are using. The APM-AMP meter will then automatically scale its display accordingly
