The Trumeter APM-FREQ-APO frequency meter is the most visual, simple to use, programmable digital panel meter which accepts AC & DC frequency signals available. Providing both the high levels of accuracy and an immediate visual indication of your parameters. The APM has been designed for operators requiring a more effective way of monitoring and displaying process variables. The Trumeter APM is a cost-effective alternative to the traditional moving coil and expensive digital panel meters.
The APM-FREQ digital panel frequency meter has an input range of 30-400Hz and an impressive accuracy of 0.1%.
APM digital panel meters are suitable for many applications including:
– mains applications – generators and power perfomance monitoring – industrial applications – process monitoring – aviation industry applications
Frequency application
The APM-FREQ meter can measure Frequencies between 30Hz and 400Hz
The APM-FREQ meter can detects frequency in two ways:
1) Zero Crossing Points
2) Upper and lower Threshold levels
The following sections discuss each configuration in more detail.
AC waveform
Set up using the free APM configurator software the APM-FREQ can be set to measure the period between zero crossing points
The APM VOLT meter is connected in parallel with the voltage to be measured as shown above
DC waveform
Set up using the configurator software the APM-FREQ can be set to measure the upper and lower offset threshold
