URE72 Kiln Controller
URE72 15 Stage Temperature controller
The European manufactured URE72 Pottery Kiln temperature controller is a 15 stage kiln controller, mounted in an ABS enclosure fitted with cables and Clipsal 410 4 pin socket, so can be used on kilns using Harco controller with 4 pin type connection or similar
The URE72 Kiln controller can be configured for type K, R , N or S thermocouples. Programming of the temperature profile is relatively simple & start of the program is via a simple push button. A maximum of 8 ramps and 7 dwell or soak peroids can be set. The ramps can be set as rate ie degrees per hour. Or it can be set as time, ie set a SP and a time period to get there. The URE72 kiln controller also has RS485 serial communications as standard so you can connect to a PC. If a supervisory system needs to be connected or just simple data-logging is required, this is also possible.

Modify program by PC or keypad
The Program can be modified by fontal keypad as all standard temperature controllers or via standard PC using optional PD Interface. This is an inexpensive super fast and easy method of changing programs and allows user to see the temperature profile. Using the PD Tool also allows a further 14 programs to be conveniently used, so the URE72 becomes a powerful 15 program x 15 stage kiln controller.
Modem for Kiln Controller
If you are interested in monitoring kiln firing progress from a remote location rather than hanging around the kiln all day and evening, we can provide inexpensive Modems which easily links to the URE72 kiln Controller. These accept a standard data sim card and can be set up allow interogation of kiln temperature and current status by mobile phone or desktop PC via the internet. Advanced features also allow set up to provide SMS text alerts should critical temperatures be reached.
Use SMS to stop, start the kiln, read temperature, set point, stage number etc.
